Sisi raises minimum wage by 67 pct ahead of poll

Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi announced over the weekend that he had raised the minimum wage to 2,000 Egyptian pounds ($115.74) per month from 1,200, a 67 percent increase.
