U.S. charity opens cancer ward for kids in Gaza

A U.S. charity Tuesday inaugurated the first children’s cancer department in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, bringing a much-needed service to the blockaded territory that will prevent the need for dozens of children to make the difficult journey to Israel or the occupied West Bank for treatment, often without their parents.
