Daradji on his ‘Journey,’ impact of war

The Iraq War may have ended in 2011, but for filmmaker Mohamed al-Daradji, the conflict remains part of his everyday life. You could say that my movies are a way of coping with the [aftermath] of the war, the 40-year-old told AFP this week as he discussed his latest film, The Journey.
