A hard-liner in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government Sunday visited Al-Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem, ending a longstanding ban on such activity. Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel, of the Jewish Home party, toured the Haram al-Sharif compound housing the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock without any reported incident.
